Hey bunnies! Today we’re going to make a vegan all natural face wash. I’ve been using this recipe for a couple years now with a few changes along the way. Since becoming vegan, I began omitting the honey and bee pollen. I now found a wonderful substitute by using raw coconut nectar.
I like to use this face wash in the morning and at night. Putting it in a squeeze bottle or pump bottle works great for applying this to something like a clarisonic. I use mine every time. It helps get the face wash deep into the pores and help to wash away dirt and makeup.
The Young Living essential oils I choose are great for a variety of things. Manuka essential oil is great for acne, oily skin, eczema, and pimples. Elemi is great for aging skin and wrinkles. It’s never to early to start wrinkle prevention. Everything you need is listed below. Enjoy!
Vegan All Natural Face Wash
1 tbsp each-
1/2 cup hot boiled distilled water
1/8 cup coconut nectar
1/8 cup vegetable glycerin
1/8 cup aloe vera
3 tbsp unscented castile soap
5 drops vitamin E oil
1 tsp coconut oil
Combine all the dried flowers and the boiled water in a small container and steep for about 20 min. Or until the water has cooled. Then strain the flowers and add the infused water to a blender.
Then add in all other ingredients and blend on low for a few seconds. Bubbles will form but they will go down with time.
Add to your storage bottle.
Keep refrigerated. This makes about 6oz. Use within 7-10 days.
