Want a juice recipe that takes less than 5 minutes to make and clean up? Watermelon juice is the perfect summer drink for those hot days and pool parties! Juicing is one of the best things you can do for your body but the process can be a chore at times. When I want fresh juice the first thing that comes to mind is cleaning out the blender… ugh. I think this is the same feeling for a lot of people. Cleaning the juicer at the end is the worst and that may be one of the biggest reasons we don’t juice more.

Watermelon has such a high water content you don’t really need to run it though the juicer to create a nice juice. It’s not as thick as a smoothie even if you don’t strain it. You can have it plain, or what I like to do is add in some fresh herbs. Mint is great or if you’re feeling a little adventurous you can try some basil!

Not only does watermelon taste great it’s packed with nutrients. It’s a good source of vitamin A, B6 and C, lycopene, antioxidants, and amino acids. This easy recipe is listed below. Enjoy!

  1. So this was perfect because I had leftover watermelon in my fridge so I made this today with basil and it was amazing! Very refreshing and way to easy. I will add that even tho my watermelon was cold I did need to add ice just because I like it really cold. Trying mint next time!

    • Yay! Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know how you liked it Chrissy! And I’m glad you got to use your leftover watermelon too! Sometimes it hard to eat a whole watermelon. I still have some in my fridge even after making this juice twice haha. Thanks again doll! xoxo
