Hey bunnies! Today we’re going to make a raw vegan almond banana smoothie. I’m not sure if my body is just craving a little extra fat right now but this is the second recipe this week that contains almonds. I’m just in a nutty mood I guess! Hehe
This raw vegan banana smoothie makes for a great breakfast that will hold you over for quite a while. I didn’t feel the need to add any additional sweeteners but if you want yours a little sweeter feel free to add in some coconut nectar. That’s my current favorite. Raw Vegan Almond Banana Smoothie
1 cup almonds, you may soak overnight if you wish
2 1/2 cups raw almond milk
2 large ripe bananas
1 tsp vanilla extract or seeds from 1 vanilla bean
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 cups ice
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend.
