Hey bunnies! Today we’re going to make some raw vegan almond milk. Yum! Almond milk is such a staple in our home. You can do so many different things with raw vegan almond milk. You can use it as a base for several different kinds of raw soups or in your cereal. It also goes great in smoothies or just as a simple snack.
If you’ve ever bought almond milk at the store you’re in for a treat. Homemade raw vegan almond milk tastes so much fresher and is bursting with natural flavor. Everything you need is listed below. Enjoy!
Raw Vegan Almond Milk
1 cup of almonds soaked overnight and strained (you can add an extra 1/2 cup of almonds for a stronger flavor)
4 cups water
1 tbsp raw coconut nectar
1/2 tsp himalayan salt
Add soaked almonds and water to a blender and blend for 1-2 min.
Strain the liquid into a bowl though a nut milk bag.
You can dehydrate the almond pulp to make raw almond flour if you like.
Add your strained almond milk back into the blender and add in the coconut nectar and salt. Blend for a final time.
