Fall recipes are finally here! For the first recipe I decided to make a raw vegan frozen apple cider. Since the weather is still warm here in Florida, I thought a frozen beverage inspired by fall would be fun. This icy beverage is topped off with cashew cream, cinnamon, and agave.

You can use a straw, spoon, or drink it straight out of the glass. You can also double the recipe and make some for your friends and family. You will have extra cashew cream left over. Try using it as a fruit dip! Yum! Everything you need is listed below to make this raw vegan frozen apple cider. Enjoy!

Raw Vegan Frozen Apple Cider Ingredients:

1 cup fresh apple juice

1/2 frozen banana

4 tbsp raw almond milk

1 1/4 cups ice

1/8 tsp cinnamon

Cashew cream topping:

1 cup raw cashews

1/4 cup coconut oil- (HERE)

6 tbsp coconut water

1 tbsp raw agave

1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract

Toppings (optional):

Agave

Cinnamon

Method:

Prepare the cashew topping first by placing all ingredients into a blender or a mini processor and blend until smooth. Set aside.

Then, add all frozen apple cider ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour into a mug or glass and top with a dollop of cashew cream and drizzle with agave and a pinch of cinnamon.
