I love taking charcoal as a capsule supplement but it also works great in a drink as well. When mixed with water, and also ensures that you consume enough liquids with it. Activated charcoal helps alleviate gas and bloating and helps with cleansing the digestive tract. And since it’s Halloween time and I know there is a lot of parties, it can also help treat alcohol poisoning and help prevent hangovers. Ingredients:

2 lemons juiced

4 cups water

2-4 veggie charcoal capsules

1/4-1/2 cup raw coconut nectar (or more to your preference)

1/2 cup raspberries

ice

Method:

Add all ingredients to a blender except the ice and blend. I used 4 capsules in mine but check the directions on your specific packaging.

Serve over ice.
