Hey, bunnies! Today we’re going to make some raw vegan buffalo wings. As I’m writing this I am currently three hours away from completing my very first seven-day juice fast. Wooo Hooo! All week I’ve been thinking about how I’m going to reward myself and what I’m going to eat when it’s done. Technically I should be eating something like watermelon but I am not going to let the train slow to a stop. Instead, I am throwing myself off immediately at midnight lol.

One of my favorite things to eat is the raw vegan buffalo wings at a restaurant called Cider Press Café. I will drive 45 minutes just to have this yummy appetizer. So I thought the perfect reward would be some raw vegan buffalo wings homemade from scratch in my own kitchen. I’m not gonna lie, it’s a little tough right now because the kitchen smells so amazing from the dehydrator and I still have three hours left but the taste of victory can be so sweet! I have listed everything below you will need to make these raw vegan buffalo wings. Enjoy!

Raw Vegan Buffalo Wings



1 large head of orange or white cauliflower

Buffalo sauce:

2/3 cup Raw Vegan Hot Sauce

3/4 cup cashews soaked overnight

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

2 garlic cloves

1/2 tsp nama shoyu

pinch dried cloves

1/4 tsp yacon root syrup


Optional: raw vegan ranch dressing


Break up the cauliflower into bite sized pieces and add to a large mixing bowl.Place all buffalo sauce ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour the sauce over the cauliflower and toss to combine well. If you want wet wings,  save a little sauce for a final toss.

Place the wings onto a non-stick dehydrator sheet and dehydrate at 115° for 6-8 hours or until cauliflower is at desired softness. The longer you dehydrate the crunchier they will get as well. Toss with sauce again if you choose. I also like to drizzle some extra hot sauce on top too!

Serve with a raw vegan ranch dressing and celery.
