Hey bunnies! Today we’re going to make some raw vegan cinnamon glazed pecans. So it was the night before Spiderman Homecoming was releasing in theaters and it got me thinking… What am I going to eat at the movies. Yes, most everything makes me think of food lol. I’m not really one to snack on plain raw nuts. They have to be mixed with other things or spiced up a bit.
These raw vegan cinnamon glazed pecans give off a pecan pie vibe for sure. Sweet, a little spicy, and bold. These were the perfect thing to snack on at the movies. Don’t judge me, they don’t have many raw vegan options lol. Another great movie snack are my raw vegan fruit leathers. Easy and portable. Everything you need is listed below. Enjoy!
Raw Vegan Cinnamon Glazed Pecans
2 cups raw pecans soaked overnight
2 tbsp. raw coconut nectar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp himalayan salt
Strain and rinse the pecans. Pat dry with a paper towel and transfer to a mixing bowl.
Add the coconut nectar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the mixing bowl.
Stir to combine well.
Place the coated pecans onto a non-stick dehydrator sheet.
Dehydrate them at 115° for 12-20 hours.
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
