Hey bunnies! Today we’re going to make some raw vegan guacamole. If you love avocados, you might just put this on everything you eat from now on. I’ve always loved a good guacamole but store bought just can’t compare to a good homemade version.  The salty and tart flavors from the living nama shoe and lemon just take the flavor up a notch.

Nama Shoyu is no ordinary soy sauce. It’s been fermented in barrels and is unpasturiezed keeping it raw. The term “nama” in Japanese means raw. So this is a great thing to keep stocked in a raw kitchen. It adds so much flavor to many dishes! Everything is listed below for you guys. I also embedded a link to the nama shoyu I buy. Enjoy!

Raw Vegan Guacamole

Ingredients:

5 ripe avocados cut into 1/2 in chunks

1 large tomato diced

1 small red onion diced

1 garlic clove minced

2 tbsp nama shoyu

juice of 1 lemon

1/2 cup cilantro chopped

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.

Use a large spoon to combine.

Using the same spoon, you can mash the avocado to your desired liking and consistency.

The lemon juice plays a crucial role at preserving the avocado. It helps to keep it from turning brown so quickly.

Serve with your favorite chips or crackers. You can also use it in a raw taco with my raw vegan taco meat recipe.
